Introducing Nadine


Nadine Thériault

Nadine Thériault earned her B.M. at Conservatoire de Musique de Rimouski, Québec (Canada); her M.M. at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh; and Post Graduate degree at Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts (Austria). Nadine studied violin performance with Professors Michael Frischenschlager, Cyrus Forough and Pierre Montgrain. Summer academies included the Centre d’Art Orford, the Meadowmount School of Music, the Académie Internationale de Musique de Montpellier (France) and the Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria).

Nadine is a former member of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, and played for the Hawaii Pops and Hawaii Opera Theater. She has performed with orchestras around the US and Canada including Symphony Tacoma, the Virginia, Richmond and Williamsburg Symphony Orchestras, to name just a few. She has played under the baton of maestros Pierre Boulez, Peter Ouindjian, JoAnn Falletta, Michael Stern, Gerard Schwarz and many others, and has accompanied artists such as Anne Akiko Meyers, Midori, Joshua Bell, Emmanuel Ax, and Paul Neubauer. She maintains a Suzuki studio wherever she lives and has recently joined the Huntingdonshire Music School as violin and string ensemble tutor.
