Introducing Zoe


Zoe Austin

Tuition: Violin, Piano, Singing. Directs Music School String Ensemble.
Level: Beginner to Advanced

Zoe has a BA (Hons) in music from University of Exeter and an MA in Music Therapy from Anglia Ruskin University. She has grade 8 (ABRSM) in violin and singing and grade 7 piano.

Zoe has been providing music tuition since 2000 and along with her work for HuMS runs an extensive private tuition and Music Therapy practice. Zoe was the Music Co-ordinator at a special school in Ely from 2013-2016 and has many years' experience of providing music workshops in community settings for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues - including for organisations such as Squeaky Gate and in her current position with Rowan.

Zoe is musical director of the Junior Strings group here at HuMS and previously ran the Senior Strings and Folk Music Ensembles. Past work has also seen her directing the student choir for Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge.
